With more than 50 Soft Surrounding stores across the United States, consumers can now go inside the store and explore the huge variety of skincare products and makeup. Soft Surroundings now carries products from all across the world.As some readers may know, I am a Registered Nurse and did a year of Aesthetic Nursing when my kids were young and needed part- time work. I consider myself a semi-expert on the subject and the brands carried by Soft Surroundings are extremely high quality, if not almost medical grade.
Saint Louis is basically the flagship store and their Beauty Specialist, Lauren, knows her stuff. I am very particular about my makeup and they carry the line Jane Iredale, which I use regularly and which is hard to find. Jane’s products are not only pure, but contain nourishing ingredients, especially for aging skin. If you are interested, you can look up your skin care line at EWG.org. You will find out the ingredients products in your skincare. It also rates them on a 1 to 10 scale as to the toxicity and biohazards, with the number “1” being the lowest. The great majority of Jane’s products range from 1-2, and the products I use are mostly rated “1′”s!! There are a few ingredients in her products that are rated “3”, but you can easily avoid those. There are so many other product lines to choose from, my preferences are just an example. If you are curious, go in and consult with your local Beauty Specialist at Soft Surroundings and you will be pleased.
Lauren gave me the royal treatment!!! We experimented with products and colors and applications. Nothing like getting pampered on the job. One of the perks of being a blogger, I guess. We had so much fun and Lauren, as the beauty specialist, knows her stuff. You can ask her just about anything, and if she doesn’t know, she will find out. However, she knows a lot.
After all was said and done, I loved the look we created together. I am very particular about everything, and Lauren was very accommodating.
Voila!! I learned something new, tried out some new products, and had so much fun. On top of that, I looked even better than when I came in!!
