If you love retro looks, especially from the 1940’s, you will love Chiara Boni’s Fall 2019 designs shown at NYFW. Who didn’t love to play dress-up as a little girl? Well, there may be some tomboys out there, but no matter, you can’t help but go down memory lane when you see some of the looks. This head wrap-hat slanted so dramatically to the side must excite any one who appreciates styles from the past. Suits have also been a thing of the past until just recently. As of late, more sensual fabrics like velvet have also made a huge comeback. This luscious teal velvet suit must conjure up memories of the old days for sure. Did you wear a pretty velvet dress on a special occasion when you were young?
