First it was the Fabulous Fashionistas from London, and Now the Idiosyncratic Fashionistas are Here in the United States
On my front page Articles of this Website there is an Article about the Fabulous Fashionistas from London who I love, and I don’t. They are these wonder women rebelling against the stereotypes of Aging Women. They wear creative clothing and lots of color. My article about those lovely ladies was about the fact that as fun as they are, I think it makes somewhat of a mockery of older women. Their clothing is not always stylish and somewhat garish.
These ladies, the Idiosyncratic Fashionistas, are poor copy. Their clothing is: only attention seeking; lacks any taste whatsoever; and definitely subject to ridicule. I understand the point they are trying to make, because the purpose of this blog is the same. To celebrate diversity and to live every moment to the fullest. However, I think these women are really tasteless and they do not really help the image of Aging Women. It almost seems like a publicity stunt. What do you think?
